I was unsure if getting prescriptions VR lens inserts would work. Both my wife and I have tricky prescriptions. But I was so sick of trying to find that sweet spot with my progressives. My eyeglass prescriptions are greater than -8.00. I wondered how well Reloptix would do- and how they would keep the lenses light and thin. Well, they did it!! The lenses are great! Expert help try to match my eye contition of a slight vertical double that is worse in VR (white on black background). Work in progress to debug.
Faint ghost image also seen in glasses with same RX.
1. Astigmatism (uncorrected or undercorrected) — common with vertical ghosting. But see in each eye but left is 50% great shift down.
2. Corneal irregularity — from dryness, scarring, or subtle warping (even mild keratoconus).
3. Early lens changes — like very early cataracts or lens asymmetry.
